By car
Coming from Oberhausen & Bielefeld via highway A2: Leave the A2 at exit no. 27 (Bielefeld-Zentrum) and take the B66 towards Lage/ Detmold as far as Lage. From Lage follow the B 239 to Horn Bad Meinberg. In Bad Meinberg, continue straight ahead at the traffic lights where the B 239 turns sharp right. Turn right at the next set of traffic lights and follow the signs to “Thermalbad” and “Haus Yoga Vidya”. Seminarhaus Shanti is the first building complex on the right-hand side.

Coming from Münster, Hannover, Berlin, Hamburg via highway A2: Leave the A2 at exit no. 35 (Bad Eilsen/Ost9 and drive towards Rinteln/ Lemgo/ Detmold and via Lemgo to Detmold on the B238. In Detmold, follow the B239 to Bad Meinberg. In Bad Meinberg, continue straight on at the traffic lights where the B239 turns sharp right. Turn right at the next set of traffic lights and follow the signs to “Thermalbad” and “Yoga Vidya Bad Meinberg.
Coming from Köln, Frankfurt, Kassel via A33 and A44: Take the A44 to exit no. 61 (Kreuz Bad Wünnenberg-Haaren). Take the A33 towards Paderborn / Bielefeld until exit no. 26-Paderborn/Elsen. From Paderborn/Elsen follow the B1 towards Hameln/Detmold/Bad Lippspringe until the junction B1/B239 Bad Meinberg. Turn right onto the B239 towards Bad Meinberg. Turn right at the first traffic lights, follow the signs to “Thermalbad” and “Haus Yoga Vidya”, turn right again immediately and continue straight ahead.
By train:
If you are travelling by train, we recommend you choose “Horn-Bad Meinberg” as your destination station, which is about 5 km from the Seminar Centre.
From there you can take the regional bus no. 782 approximately once an hour (last departure: 7.10 pm):
